Job description
The IBM T. J. Watson Research Center is seeking exceptional 

undergraduates to conduct applied research in analytics or optimization 
as part of a research team in the Business Analytics & Math Sciences 
 organization.

Major Fields of Study: Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical or Systems 

Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related areas.

Required skills include demonstrated success in undergraduate 

mathematics courses, experience with one or more mathematical 
software packages (SPSS, CPLEX, Matlab, R, etc), 
good communication skills and an interest in solving real world problems. 
 Previous undergraduate research experience a plus.

Required
  • Basic knowledge in Statistical modeling methods
  • Basic knowledge in programming skills (C+, Java, Perl, etc)
  • English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
