SURE Deadline Extension: The SURE application deadline has been extended
to 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 10th, 2014, for all applicants (Emory
students and external applicants).
Because of the recent Emory
University closing during inclement weather, many faculty-student
meetings were cancelled, delaying application plans. Therefore, we'll
extend the student application deadline by one week across the board.
However, please note that the deadline for the receipt of faculty
letters of recommendation will remain the same: due Monday, Feb. 10,
2014.

SURE 2010 at Emory University
We are 100 strong this year! SURE is off to a great start. Today, we conducted our day-long ethics training kickoff. Good times! Here's a picture showing most of the group, cheerful after having survived a close brush with the dread disease Moralysis. [This is not to imply that some students didn't survive training, just that they didn't make the photo op!]

Undergrad research video featuring SURE fellows
This video includes interviews with SURE fellows Zach Rohm, Robin Iriele and Scott Seitz. I also spotted a picture of Jessica Ivy, another SURE alumna. It includes brief footage from this summer's SURE poster session (featuring Christopher Caughman, Marquise Hopson and Samuel Hong) and some words from Dr. Pat Marsteller, Director of the Center for Science Education and SURE program founder.
