Biomedical summer research at Harvard (SHURP)

This program targets pre-PhD students interested in biomedical research.


Deadline: Feb. 1, 2010


Research areas: a variety of biological and biomedical sciences including (but not limited to) cellular and developmental biology, cell cycle regulation, cardiac and cardio-pulmonary functions and pathology, studies of blood cells, cancer biology, endocrinology, immunology, microbiology, molecular biology and genetics, receptor structure and functions, transmembrane signaling mechanisms, study of clotting mechanisms, and virology.


Eligibility: undergraduates with prior research experience and molecular biology coursework; must be US citizens or permanent residents due to funding limitations

Cardiovascular Center Summer Research Fellowship

The University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center Summer Fellowship Program is accepting applications. 


Eligibility: undergraduates enrolled in any degree-granting university or college


Application Deadline: January 29, 2010


Details: $4000 stipend, 10 week program

Summer Research: U Michigan, Molecular and Integrative Physiology

The Department of Molecular and Integrative Physiology is pleased to offer a summer fellowship program to support undergraduate students that are interested in summer research in physiology and/or biomedical sciences. Any student who is currently enrolled at any degree granting University or College is eligible to apply, with preference give to those students interested in a career in research.
