Summer research at Des Moines University: microbiology, pharmacology, physiology, biochemistry and physical therapy

Des Moines University has an Undergraduate Summer Research Program where students work with faculty researchers for an eight-week period on projects in microbiology, pharmacology, physiology, biochemistry and physical therapy.  The students receive a stipend of $10/hr.

American Society for Microbiology undergrad research

ASM supports undergraduate researchers to work with ASM faculty members.

The program requires a joint application from both the student and a faculty mentor. The faculty mentor must be an ASM member and willing to serve as the applicant's mentor for the duration of the research experience. It is student's responsibility to submit a completed application by February 1, 2010.
